TAIGA MOUNTAIN PROSPECT
Douglas Creek Arch, Colorado

Geological Summary
Taiga Mountain Prospect is located adjacent to and southwest of giant Rangely Field, in T1N, R103W of Rio Blanco County, Colorado. Bayless and Dejour Energy together hold 7100 gross and net acres on undeveloped structural trends. Gas and oil production has been established along analogous trends both inside and outside the township, such as Taiga Mountain, Banta Ridge, Rangely Southwest, and Douglas Creek North Fields. Targets include pay zones in the Mesaverde, Mancos, and Dakota formations, at depths ranging from 2000 to 9000 feet. Conservative potential reserves are estimated to be 15 BCFG and 1.5 MMBO, based solely on the relatively few wells drilled within the township to date. Considerable upside is suggested by the established production in surrounding fields. Additionally, the Mesaverde coals are an emerging resource play in the area.
