Robert L. Bayless, Producer LLC operates approximately 150 wells in the San Juan, Paradox, Piceance and Sand Wash basins of New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah.  The majority are legacy natural gas wells in the prolific sandstone and coal gas plays of the San Juan Basin.  The company is actively developing Mancos oil and gas assets with horizontal drilling in the San Juan and on the Douglas Creek Arch of the Piceance Basin.

Additionally, Bayless has a significant acreage position and non-operated production oil and gas position in Utah’s Uinta Basin.  The company owns non-operated working interests in about 600 wells in the Uinta and in Wyoming’s Powder River and Green River basins.

Future growth will continue to come from these core areas and new ventures.  Bayless is actively acquiring exploration acreage in several prospective basins.  The company also owns a royalty interest in the highly-productive Beetaloo Basin in Australia through its affiliate, Territory Oil & Gas.
